Biography
With a writing background in nature and trade essays, travel commentaries and scripts, Penelle wrote and produced five destination travelogues as well as the novels listed. The author focuses on the intrigue and beauty of wild places as well as the treasure of national culture and meaningful friendship.
A graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., the author has a broad professional background, from education and administration, to over twenty-two years in tourism.
A ten year career with Pan American World Airways was an amazing opportunity to explore culturally diverse and historically interesting destinations. Penelle had the opportunity to meet people from all over the globe and to assist them in their enjoyment of discovery.
With subsequent employment in France, England and Ireland, New York and Seattle, Penelle broadened her business knowledge and was able to receive certification in tour direction.
For the past twelve years she has directed hundreds of guests on numerous tours exploring the world’s most special places. Now she enjoys creating stories which engage us with the beauty and real people of places near and far.
